Communities of Practice are currently forming for each of the focus areas below. Each of these communities are open and your participation is encouraged.

| BioScience Regions The WIRED Bioscience Interest Group (BIG) is an informal and primarily virtual resource sharing group of WIRED regional representatives. Members of the WIRED BIG participate by sharing the practical experience of regional research and project implementation through a facilitated information exchange. Participation in WIRED BIG is open to bioscience / biotechnology / life science interested staff and consultants of any of the Generation I, II, or III WIRED regions, as well as other experts and interested parties.

| Energy Regions Energy Regions on Innovating Networks is an open, free to register, site for all things energy. It is a Community of Practice for those interested in the energy industry. News, forums and other pertinent energy-related subjects can be posted. Energy Regions is broken into categories that include Alternative, Electric, Mining and Exploration, Natural Gas and Nuclear. This new site hopes to be a catalyst for information sharing, new techniques and ideas, interesting discussions and anything important to the energy community.

| TDL Regions / TDL Core The Transportation, Distribution, and Logistics (TDL) Community of Practice is designed for WIRED Regions and non-regions alike, to share information, collaborate on ideas and create partnerships based around the TDL industry. Regions as well as business and industry partners from across the country are encouraged to contribute to the strategies and solutions for the TDL workforce facilitated through this Community of Practice site.
